Event Marketing made easy with ACT! E-Marketing

For the last few years we have had the opportunity to successfully  host  the Sage ACT! Roadshow. This is an event where we get to meet with current customers and introduce potential customers to our products and services.

As with any event, there are a number of logistics involved. Fortunately, when it comes to event E-marketing, ACT! E-Marketing has all the bases covered. Here are  steps you can take to increase attendance and make your next event a success.

One month to the event, send a ‘Save the Date’ email to all potential attendees to inform them about the up coming event and ask them to reserve the date on their calendar.
A week later, send an invitation with event details and a link to a registration form. Include early bird registration information with a discount to encourage your contacts to sign up. Once the contact registers they should receive a confirmation email thanking them for registering and providing event details.

About 10 to 15 days before the event, send a reminder email with the event details and any other additional information such as parking instructions. One day to the event send a ‘Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow’ reminder email. Use the drip marketing feature to ensure that your contacts do not receive unnecessary emails once they register.

After the event do not forget to follow-up. Send a ‘Thanks for Coming’ email linked to a survey form. Request  feedback, this will provide information about the contact and will assist you in preparation for the next successful event.
